Services Provided by Marshall
Supervision is offered to interns working towards their Texas LPCs and LMFTs as well as national RPT certifications. These services occur in individual and group settings. Limited spots are available and
are typically filled 2-3 months in advance.
Consultation opportunities are available to practitioners looking to further develop skills in experiential modalities, especially play and sandtray therapy. Services are provided in person, or when appropriate, via web conferencing. Sandtray Basics, Sandtray Case Consultation and Sandtray-Based Person-of-the-Therapist are a few of the topics Marshall frequently teaches. Also, as an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Marshall offers EMDR consultation in individual and group formats.

Marshall's speaking topics have recently focused on developing play and sandtray therapy skills, encouraging relational parenting perspectives, addressing person-of-the-therapist issues, improving systemic interventions, utilizing metaphor in therapy, promoting secure attachment relationships in families and increasing trauma-informed knowledge. As part of Marshall's Ph.D. requirements, he is writing research that focuses on adoptive parent-child relationships. In the meantime, he is interested in other writing opportunities that fall within his scope of expertise.
Marshall has previously co-authored works, including a book chapter, journal articles, and magazine articles, that relate to counseling supervision, play therapy, sandtray therapy, adoption, and trauma.
