Healing for Healers Series: Working with Body through Clay

Description: This group intensive experience is for anyone who identifies as a healer and is interested in clay work as a means to enhance somatic awareness and increase nurturing contact with the concept of what “body” has meant and could mean to them. The class will meet for two days. Some of the work will feature creating clay pieces based on human model references (which could be live models or renderings). The creations are not meant to be kept; the class emphasizes process over product as we redeem messages received about body that do not serve us or those counting on us. Much time will be devoted to verbal processing of the personal responses to the clay work. No previous art experience required.

    Facilitator: Marshall Lyles

    Dates: April 3rd - 4th, 2026

Times: 9a - 4:30p each day (Central Time Zone)

Location: The Workshop, 300 Allen St., Austin, TX 78702
