    Description: This webinar will consist of a combination of lecture, group discussion, and experiential activities as participants learn about the application of attachment theory to sandtray therapy. Time will be dedicated to understanding the relational neuroscience involved in using an expressive modality like sandtray to treat attachment trauma. This workshop can be applied to work with clients of various ages as well as individual, couple and family, and group treatment. Experiential learning will be prominent so be aware that you may encounter sensitive information when practicing the expressive techniques.

    Learning objectives:
    1. Discuss overlapping histories and methodology of attachment theory and sandtray therapies
    2. Discuss the perspectives offered by the relational neurosciences on sandtray therapy
    3. Describe attachment-based therapy opportunities in sandtray processing

The training will occur via Zoom and participants will need access to the internet as well as have some sandtray therapy materials available.
