How to be a disability ally as a therapist (webinar)

    Date: October 8, 2024

Time: 6 pm - 7 pm (Central US time)

Description: Disability is a massive and misunderstood construct. Even with the complexity of innumerably different lived experiences disabled people have, therapists (and all humans really) can begin to reach for more inclusivity, more attuned curiosity, and more sensitive accommodations within their spaces and practices. After a brief overview of disability praxis, this one-hour webinar will address a few pragmatic ideas for becoming a more invested ally to the disabled community. If you can’t attend live, your registration will give you access to the recording.

Registration information: The registration fee is $30. The training will occur via zoom. A link will be sent 24 hours ahead of time.

CEs: No CEs will be available for this brief event.

    Cancellation policy: Registration is non-refundable.

Presenter: Marshall Lyles, MA, LPC-S, LMFT-S, RPT-S, EMDRIA Approved Consultant
