The Art of Stewardship: Advanced Practice, Teaching, and Creative Leadership in

Sand Therapy

Program Description

This three-day immersive learning experience is designed for seasoned sand therapists

who are ready to expand their work beyond the tray and into the wider professional

landscape. Through experiential practice, reflective consultation, and guided creative

development, participants will deepen their clinical mastery while cultivating the skills

needed to offer high-quality sand therapy consultation, design and facilitate

transformative workshops, and craft written content that contributes meaningfully to the

field.

Across the three days, practitioners will engage in advanced sand process work,

explore frameworks for ethical and attuned consultation, and practice translating clinical

wisdom into teachable, accessible formats. Participants will also receive structured

support for developing their own workshop outlines, consultation approaches, and

written pieces—whether for publication, training materials, or community education. The

experience centers the therapist’s voice, presence, and lineage of learning, inviting

each participant to step into their role as a steward of the modality.

Dates: August 13-15, 2026

Time: 9 am - 3:30 pm daily (Central time)
