Teaching EndorsementsA good teacher imparts information. A great teacher does, too, and also connects, moves the soul, and inspires. Marshall is a great and humble teacher....Delightfully profound. Marshall is one of the best presenters/trainers I’ve experienced... engaging, and practical applicable content. This was my first introduction to sand tray/play therapy and I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. I can definitely apply this during sessions. The atmosphere of the training was excellent. Marshall creates fun and safe spaces. It is always helpful when the presenter can and does relate the training to the 'self'. To me, the aspect of your self disclosure that you do your own sand trays and journal about them is refreshing! Thank you for always sharing a bit of yourself, your journey and your process in your trainings! Marshall is a profoundly wise and gifted teacher who interweaves didactic training with experiential opportunities while providing a safe space to integrate the material at deeply felt and embodied levels. The practicum experience was invaluable. I appreciated the feedback Marshall provided that helped me deepen my skill level and brought awareness to areas for growth. I have had the privilege of learning from Marshall Lyles numerous times in the past years. I so thoroughly enjoyed his intelligent and engaging presentations that I recruited him as the featured speaker for the annual Winter Retreat for the Hill Country Chapter of the Texas Association for Play Therapy. Marshall's warm and compassionate nature translates easily to an engaging presentation style full of experiential exercises and opportunities for self-reflection. He is widely read and exceptionally well-versed in ethics and theory. As a result, he is able to connect deeply with learners of all backgrounds and experience levels. Marshall is an incredibly competent and naturally gifted therapist, and I highly recommend him both as a speaker and as a colleague. Marshall Lyles is an impactful and powerful presenter. He is regularly lauded by peers and conference attendees for his ability to hold the attention and interest of his audience. Marshall has a way of making complex topics approachable to the average person. He is a knowledgeable professional with amazing insight and intellect. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Marshall on referred presentations and have also attended his professional trainings. Marshall has a gift of authenticity. He stands out among other professionals and educators because of his unique ability to engage his audience. Marshall is quiet and unassuming, but when he speaks you’ll want to listen, and you’ll be glad you did. |
