When we were little: Sharing the beginnings of our stories

    Facilitators:
    Terry Kottman and Marshall Lyles

    Description:
This online monthly group experience will meet four times as we explore how to write and share formative moments of our life stories. We will discuss the indigenous roots of community storytelling before we explore Adlerian ideas around early recollections and aspects of memory reconsolidation theory. The majority of the shared work in this group will be experiential. We will write together and talk about our journeys during small group breakouts before practicing oral storytelling. This is a personal development opportunity for anyone who identifies as a healer and continuing education hours are not being offered. Some writing will occur between meetings.

    Dates:

Beginning in September of 2023, this group will meet four times on the first Tuesday of each month from 7 pm - 9 pm Central.
