    Containment and Grounding in Sand-Based Play Therapy

    Description:
    This webinar will overview opportunities for utilizing containment and grounding strategies with common sandtray-based play therapy tools and techniques. Being proficient in regulation strategies allows therapists from all clinical theory backgrounds to assist clients in titrating nervous system ebbs and flows, resulting in wider windows of tolerance.


    Learning objectives:
    1. Explain the concepts of window of tolerance and regulation theory through the lens of play therapy constructs
    2. Discuss sand-based play therapy techniques for implementing containment and grounding work with clients
