Dissociation and Disablism

    Description: No matter how well intentioned, healers exist inside intersecting systems that have historically overlooked and dismissed the harm done to people with disabilities in the name of health and treatment. This one-hour informal event will briefly overview this history, arriving at a awareness raising discussion of the state of ableist-shaped agendas around dissociation in the broader mental health field.
