The Healer’s Journey Toward Embodied Self:
An Expressive Retreat - Waitlist
Date:
Jan 12-15, 2023
Time:
9 am - 5 pm (Central time)
Description:
Marshall Lyles and Renee Turner have created a 4-day retreat for all who identify as healers. During this time together, the group of only 16 will be invited to make use of breath therapy approaches, clay work, sandtray, poetry, and other art forms to explore their own history of self development. The aim is to arrive at a more embodied connection to the self that wants to be claimed.
This is not a continuing education event. Marshall and Renee want to offer a space free from outside confinements and feel that this event belongs more in the category of personal development than traditional education, though there will undoubtedly be benefits to participants’ professional lives. This retreat will likely welcome deeply evocative reactions. Your leaders will privilege safety and containment, but participants will be working with emotional material.
Registration information:
There are only 16 spots available. The registration fee is $1000, which includes all the expressive materials needed for the 4 days. Hotel options will be recommended, but lodging and meals will be the participant’s responsibility. The training will occur at The Workshop, 300 Allen St., Austin, TX, 78702
Cancellation policy:
Registration is non-refundable, but the fee may be transferred to another person.
Leaders:
Marshall Lyles, MA, LPC-S, LMFT-S, RPT-S, EMDRIA Approved Consultant &
Renee Turner, Ph.D., LPC-S, RPT-S
