    Using Expressive Arts in Play Therapy Supervision - Virtual

    Description:
    This webinar will briefly overview a relational approach to play therapy supervision.  It will focus on training supervisees in responsible practice with expressive materials as well as establishing a supervisory relationship that allows for trusting exploration of the powerful themes that come with expressive play therapy work with clients.  Participants will observe experiential and practice exercises that can be used in supervision sessions. The expressive exercises will primarily involve the sand tray, poetry, and clay. Participants will need access to their own materials.


    Learning objectives:

    1. Discuss responsible use of expressive art materials in play therapy supervision
    2. Describe expressive arts methods for supervisors to build healthy connection with play therapy supervisees
    3. Discuss play therapy themes in a supervisee case example
